BetCas Sportsbook complaint #2 pending

A BetCas Sportsbook player has filed a complaint with SBR against the betting site. The player has stated that his BetCas account was suspended without word. He had previously deposited and withdrawn successfully. Sportsbook Review reported on November 16 that a BetCas player had a €1223 balance up in the air; that complaint is also pending. VIPSports.eu considers settling cold case dispute

SBR reported last week that VIPSports.eu (SBR rating D-) offered a partial settlement to the player who had $2,000 in winnings confiscated after hitting a NHL Futures wager on Justin Williams winning the Conn Smythe trophy during the 2013-14 NHL Playoffs. Sportsbook Review has again spoken with the owner of BTG Global, the parent company which powers VIPSports.eu and multiple other skins, and has established that the line accuracy is not in dispute. VIPSports.eu has been unwilling to pay the full value of the ticket due to the player allegedly being profiled upon his acount sign-up and set to a max of $30 for exotic wagers - a limit that was not enforced by the software. Management is considering paying the full value of the ticket but has yet to confirm their decision with SBR.

Update: US District Judge Shipp issues permanent injunction, blocks NJ from offering sports betting.

US District Court Judge Michael Shipp is due to release his ruling on the New Jersey sports betting case today. Sportsbook Review reported this week that Judge Shipp heard arguments from New Jersey attorneys and attorneys for the major professional sports leagues and NCAA Thursday, concerning NJ's intent to allow state casinos and racetracks to accept sports wagers. | NJ report

InstantActionSports player owed $1800 for four months

An InstantActionSports (SBR rating D+) has filed a complaint with SBR. The player requested a $1800 withdrawal four months ago and has yet to be paid. InstantActionSports is presently unable to process payouts through eWallet. Sportsbook Review reported on November 4 that a player received a $5,000 payout through interbook transfer to settle a slow-pay complaint dating back to July 2014. InstantActionSports management has told SBR that players who do not wish to wait for eWallet options to become available are able to receive payment via Person to Person transfer. SBR is following up on this latest complaint and will update the newswire.

Betsson player has £309 in winnings taken

A Betsson (SBR rating C+) player has submitted a sportsbook complaint. The player deposited £300 via Skrill in early November 2014. He placed a few wagers before increasing his balance to £609. The player states that his account was then restricted by Betsson. He says that Betsson phoned him and asked if he had traveled recently, as his geo-location changed during the course of his play. The player claims to have answered all questions correctly, but was told that his account was permanently closed and winnings confiscated as a decision by management. Sportsbook Review is investigating the complaint.
