GR88 Sportsbook Complaint Received

02.06.2015

A GR88 Sportsbook customer has filed a complaint with SBR. The player states that after depositing his funds and providing proof of ID and receiving confirmation the documents were acceptable, his account was blocked and remains so. He has stated that he has been waiting for over two weeks for the matter to be resolved.

Sportsbook Review has followed up with GR88 regarding the complaint.

GR88 player: "After setting up my account and depositing, they barred my account even after sending ID docs and getting confirmation these were acceptable. For over 2 weeks I have been sending emails and contacting customer support who kept telling me they'd resolve the bar within 12 hours. It never happens and my emails are not getting answered. They have got my funds but I have no access to them and fear that this is not going to get resolved. Very poor customer service especially after I highlighted how concerned I was. A very poor sportsbook."

Bitcoin market watch: Down to $218

02.05.2015

Cryptocurrency bitcoin (BTC) has hit a low of $218 for February 5, 2015. Bitcoin has tumbled down the value charts in recent months due to one black eye after another, hackings of exchanges, closure of sportsbooks, and the theft of some player funds. One recent upside for bitcoin sports gamblers came when popular online sportsbook Bookmaker, BetDSI, and Justbet announced their support for the virtual currency. The books join the likes of 5Dimes and Heritage as tried and trusted sportsbooks to allow deposits and withdrawals through the method, quieting some concerns from players who are not keen on depositing with companies that have been around two years or less and who established strictly to service the bitcoin market. Sportsbook Review will continue to monitor bitcoin activity and update readers on the currency fluctuations.

An LSbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C) has claimed that a €1400 balance was confiscated. The player reports that he was accused of violating the terms and conditions of the betting site. He points out that all he can think of is that upon logging into the website on his desktop PC, the log-in process stalled, so he immediately logged into LSbet from his mobile device, but that he can think of no other reason that any of his account access activity would be considered usual. He has requested Sportsbook Review to get involved and reach an LSbet account manager on his behalf. SBR has presented the case to an LSbet management contact and is awaiting to hear back on the results of the complaint. LSbet player feedback is encouraged. Players can write to help@sportsbookreview.com if they have any problems or feedback worth sharing.

Sportsbook Bonuses Grid Updated

02.04.2015

Sportsbook Review has updated the sportsbook bonuses grid with the post-Super Bowl sign up bonus offers. Changes were recorded to four online sportsbooks cash bonuses. The grid is sorted in order of what SBR refers to as the "True Bonus" or pure bonus amount per play. Freeplay bonuses for example are rated at approximately half the bonus value than cash bonuses; then the bonus percentage is divided by the rollover amount. Also listed on the page are categories for maximum bonus amount, country restrictions, and SBR rating. Sportsbooks with a minimum listing of C are rated on the page, though SBR recommends players deal with betting sites who are rated B+ or higher to prevent headaches come withdrawal time or customer service issues.

02.03.2015

With the Super Bowl out of the way, there has never been a more important time to make sure you are playing with a well-funded and reputable online sportsbook. Many bookmakers deal with their biggest rush of withdrawals from North American players during this time-frame, so the importance of sticking with a proven establishment cannot be understated. | Tips for players
