UFC in Vegas 6 Predictions and Picks: The Weekly Punching Parlay

Another week of UFC action ahead can only mean that another parlay is in store for our fight fans. We have twelve fights lined up for this week’s UFC event at the Apex Centre in Vegas, and plenty of odds available for us to delve into some parlay betting picks for UFC in Vegas 6: Lewis vs Oleynik live this Saturday on ESPN.

Nasrat Haqparast vs. Alex Munoz

UFC Lightweight Bout

Saturday, August 08, 2020 – 10:35 PM EDT live from the Apex Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada

Nasrat Haqparast

The ever-evolving Nasrat Haqparast will be aiming to bounce back in style this weekend after suffering his first career knockout against Drew Dober.

Nasrat continues to impress me with the striking knowledge he holds at such a young age; I don't expect a loss to prevent the rise and aged twenty-four I predict a bright future from the Afghan native.

Alex Munoz

Long-time member and coach of Team Alpha Male, Alex Munoz will make his UFC debut with a strong team behind him. A lack of octagon activity could be a concern, but a positive note is that Uriah Faber should be in the corner supporting his fighter.

The available UFC odds at SBR should begin declining for Nasrat, so if your betting interest lies with the favorite, you might want to place your wager before the available line loses value.

At the End of the Day

Munoz is making his UFC debut late in his career, and although he holds a perfect record, his activity and level of competition have been low.

The UFC pushed Nasrat too quick; a fight against Drew Dober for the youngster was a wrong move in hindsight. Now, with a beatable opponent – Nasrat can display his striking-prowess.

The game plan for Munoz I expect would come from a wrestling stance, but I anticipate Nasrat's sprawling game to be on point this weekend and for a striking clinic to be displayed.

Beneil Dariush vs. Scott Holtzman

UFC Lightweight Bout

Saturday, August 08, 2020 - 11:05 PM EDT live from the Apex Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Beneil Dariush

Ok, it's no secret that all four of Beneil Dariush's career losses have been inside the distance, but when it comes down to skill-level, I don't think Holtzman comes close.

A mixed martial artist of many disciplines, it's hard to discredit Dariush in any area of the fight game other than his durability as mentioned.

Scott Holtzman

Collecting his first big win prior, Scott Holtzman is now riding a tidy 7-3 record while fighting for the UFC. The problem with Holtzman is every time the level of competition rises, and he tends to fall short of victory.

We have to give credit to Holtzman for his toughness, through ten fight's In the UFC he's only been stopped by knockout or submission on one occasion.

At the End of the Day

The easily readable style of Holtzman should be no problem for the experience of Dariush during his prime years of fighting. Still just thirty-one years old, the sky is the limit for Dariush in his skill-set he needs to avoid a dog-fight similar to what happened against Drakkar Klose. Yes, Dariush came out on top, but those kinds of exchanges aren't the wisest game plans.

I predict another impressive performance by Dariush, should he keep his chin tucked, and away from danger, I believe he can finish the fight anywhere in the cage. Knockout, submission, or decision, for this 2nd leg UFC pick, I expect Dariush to have his hand raised.
