Another week of UFC action ahead can only mean that another parlay is in store for our fight fans. We have twelve fights lined up for this week’s UFC-Fight Night event at the Apex Centre in Vegas, and plenty of odds available for us to delve into some parlay betting UFC picks for Fight Night: Brunson vs Shahbazyan live this Saturday on ESPN.

Trevin Giles vs. Kevin Holland

UFC Middleweight Bout

Saturday, 1st August live from Fight Island in Las Vegas, Nevada

Trevin Giles

The hype surrounding fighters upon their arrival to the UFC can often outweigh the talent on display, Trevin Giles was an exciting prospect who's forgotten about after two back to back submission losses.

A win over James Krause was a huge turn around for Giles, but people have questioned the split decision believing the judges handed it to the wrong fighter.

A tough test to prove his critics wrong, Giles will face another hyped-up middleweight prospect in Kevin Holland.

Kevin Holland

Former two-division champion in the XKO MMA promotion, Kevin Holland takes a sizeable frame into the middleweight division.

Standing at 6'3, Kevin has found success by striking at distance and using his long limbs to secure a submission.

The available UFC odds at SBR are quickly declining for Holland, so if your betting interest lies with the 'Trailblazer', you might want to place your bet before the line drifts out.

At the End of the Day

The battle of Texas is on, but who will prevail?

I think both fighters offer up an ultra-similar style. Holland, in my opinion, has fought a higher level of competition and should hold the cardio advantage. We saw Giles fade considerably towards the latter stages of his two submission losses, leaving too much room for disappointment.

Kevin Holland has looked the more impressive fighter since joining the UFC; there's no denying this. I'd prefer a better price, but these UFC odds leave us with a perfect parlay addition.

Chris Guitierrez vs. Cody Durden

Saturday, 1st August live from the Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chris Guitierrez

Chris Guitierrez has been flying under the radar since his UFC debut back in March of 2019 – now riding a three fight win streak, Guitierrez will take on a last-minute replacement in Cody Durden.

Fierce calf kicks have been a proficient weapon of Chris', and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a similar tactic to break down the newcomer Cody.

Cody Durden

A Short notice UFC debut versus Mr. Guitierrez could spell trouble for the natural bantamweight in Cody Durden. Not just that, but Cody will be taking on a natural featherweight in his opponent.

I will give him credit for competing in boxing, kickboxing and MMA and finding victories in each martial art – but at the highest level of MMA, I don't think Durden can overcome the skill-set of Gutierrez.

At the End of the Day

I do expect both fighters to give their best performance, but the already-proven experience of Gutierrez and skill-set has played out. I predict we'll see Gutierrez hand out enough punishment to leave the newcomer disorientated from strikes, standing or on the ground.
