Another week of UFC action ahead can only mean that another parlay is in store for our fight fans. We have thirteen fights lined up for this week’s UFC Fight Night spectacle on Fight Island, and plenty of odds available for us to delve into some parlay betting picks for UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Ige live this Wednesday on ESPN.
John Phillips vs. Khamzat Chimaev
UFC Middleweight Championship Bout
Wednesday, July 15, 2020 – 07:05 PM EDT from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi
UFC parlay prediction 1st Leg: Khamzat Chimaev to win @ -325 with BetOnline
A heavy-hitting John Phillips makes his return to the octagon, with his job at stake in his previous contest, Phillips didn’t disappoint. A first-round knockout over Alen Amedovski put the Welshman back on track.
Aged thirty-five, Phillips isn’t getting any younger and stylistically could face a mountain to climb against the wrestling offense of Chimaev.
The undefeated UFC newcomer Khamzat Chimaev is currently flying under the radar. A well-established wrestling offense has landed the Swede recognition, and he’ll now make his debut this Wednesday evening in Abu Dhabi.
Russian prospect Ikram Alikerov was riding an eight-fight win streak with a strong background in sambo wrestling, and then Chimaev knocked him out in the first round. A clear trend for Chimeav as every single win has come against an undefeated prospect; he currently fights with Allstar Training with the likes of Ilir Latifi and ‘The Mauler’ Alexander Gustafsson.
At The End of the Day
It’s always a risk when putting your faith behind a UFC debutant, but the grappling skill of Chimaev is available via his fight tape online, for all to see! He’s defeated some talented prospects in the MMA regional scene and should match up very well against the British striker.
The original -240 opening UFC odds have been taken advantage of, but I still see a small smidgen of value in Chimaev – given his elite level grappling that should leave Phillips in a world of trouble.
Calvin Kattar vs. Dan Ige
UFC Featherweight Bout
Wednesday, July 15, 2020 – 11:05 PM EDT from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi
UFC parlay prediction 2nd Leg: Reach 3rd Round @ -180 with 5Dimes
Preparing for his eighth UFC contest and twenty-sixth professional MMA bout, Calvin Kattar has only lost via stoppage one time in his career. An irrelevant loss by submission back in 2008 during his come-up is nothing to write home about.
A consistent trend in Kattar’s career (win or lose) has been his durability, putting him away inside the distance has proven a real difficulty.
Similar to his opponent, Dan Ige is one tough SOB, with zero stoppages against him during his MMA career, it’s safe to say that Ige won’t be a fighter seeing stars all too often.
At the end of the day
The current price for this fight to reach the third round holds significant value in my opinion; both fighters have shown a high-level of durability in their respective careers. Through a twenty-five-minute battle, I’d expect professional pacing to dominate the first few rounds.

Jack Shore vs Aaron Phillips
Wednesday, July 15, 2020 – 07:35 PM EDT
UFC parlay prediction 3rd Leg: Jack Shore to win @ -714 with BetOnline
Highly decorated Welsh bantamweight Jack Shore is currently priced -700 for a good reason. The slick grappler had shown proficiency in all areas of the mixed martial arts game before making it to the UFC and in-fact declined an offer from the company when he was 3-0. Jack has a confident and wise team behind him. A future in the top five of the division could well be Jack’s spot to take with more activity and higher caliber fights.
