Mackenzie Dern and Yan Xiaonan will square off in a strawweight clash, with Francisco Trinaldo and Randy Brown meeting in the welterweight co-headliner. Read on for our UFC Vegas 61 parlay picks and predictions.
Dern and Xiaonan are both looking to cement themselves as contenders in a talent-rich division that Carla Esparza lords over. The lauded Dern has gone 7-2 in the Octagon, and she last beat Tecia Torres on points in April. Meanwhile, Xiaonan most recently suffered her second straight loss in a decision opposite Marina Rodriguez the previous month at UFC 272.
In the welterweight co-main event, the ageless Trinaldo looks to extend his winning streak to three at the expense of Brown, who’s won three straight of his own and last claimed a decision over Khaos Williams in May. Mere moments prior to the co-headliner, slumping bantamweights Raoni Barcelos and Trevin Jones will look to snap their two-fight skids.
Here are my top parlay picks for UFC Vegas 61 on Saturday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook).

Top UFC Fight Night: Dern vs. Xiaonan Parlay Predictions
Barcelos is the craftier striker and he can win in more ways. In Jones, the Brazilian gets a game dance partner who will meet him in space but won’t match his output. If Jones is the first to throw, Barcelos will soon find the timing for his counters, and maybe even put Jones on his hind parts.
A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt holder, Barcelos is just as comfortable putting in work on the mat, advancing position, uncorking ground-and-pound, and hunting for necks. So no matter where the action goes, he'll outclass Jones and end his two-fight skid.
Davis vs. Borshchev: Under 2.5 rounds (-130)
If you were planning to bet on this one ending early, this line offers practically the same outcome at slightly better value through DraftKings.
With 13 stoppages in 15 pro victories between them, Davis and Borshchev should be in for an early night. Davis is a venomous striker with eight knockouts over nine wins as a pro, while Borshchev has earned all five of his stoppages via strikes and will likely give Davis the stand-up duel he wants.
Whether Davis dissects Borshchev before finishing with a nasty salvo or the latter ends things with a shot to the liver, these two lightweight bangers will entertain us with all kinds of ultraviolence while settling their matchup in short order.
Castaneda’s most recent outing against Miles Johns convinced me to pick him here. The Mexican product calmly outdueled Johns and countered his haymakers with a looping right hand before finishing the fight in the third round. I expect him to do much of the same against Santos, a game striker who likes to claim the center, and like Johns, often throws one zinger at a time.
Castaneda is patient and clever on his feet, and he can maintain a solid pace over three rounds. I expect him to let Santos chuck his haymakers early before outworking him in the latter two rounds to run away with a third straight win.
