The fans in attendance may be asleep by the time the UFC 304 headliner rolls around at roughly 5 a.m. local time, but this card should be a banger, and I'm looking through the odds and betting lines at our best sports betting sites ahead of the event.

The UFC did English fight fans no favors by catering this card to its American audience. The action will kick off at 6:15 p.m. ET from Co-op Live in Manchester (11:15 p.m. local time) with the early prelims, and the main card will get underway roughly four hours later.

When the dust clears from the fights leading up to the conclusion of the card, Tom Aspinall will look to defend his interim heavyweight title against Curtis Blaydes in the co-main event, and he'll hope to set the tone for fellow countryman and champion Leon Edwards.

Edwards battles Belal Muhammad in the main event for the undisputed welterweight strap. The two fought in 2021, but it ended in a no-contest due to an accidental eye-poke, so each fighter will be eager to prove he was always the superior athlete.

These two square off again after their 2021 fight ended in a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke. Now, with Edwards as the champ, he serves as a massive favorite, with moneyline odds as short as -275. Those are associated with a 73.33% implied probability that he'll win the fight.

With Muhammad being finished only once in his career and winning 17 of his 23 professional fights by decision, it's no wonder bet365 has the fight going the distance priced at -180.

Tom Aspinall (14-3) vs. Curtis Blaydes (18-4)

Most of the MMA community is itching for a fight between Aspinall and undisputed heavyweight champion Jon Jones (despite the latter trying his best to fight Stipe Miocic instead).

Our best sports betting apps seem to believe Blaydes will be more or less a stepping stone for Aspinall en route to the Jones fight, as the latter is as short as -420 to win. Those odds come with a whopping 80.77% implied probability - truly bananas in a sport with outcomes based on two massive humans hitting each other.

Bobby Green (32-15-1) vs. Paddy Pimblett (21-3)

Paddy "The Baddy" finds himself as the underdog in this fight despite having "home-field advantage." He's as long as -105 through DraftKings against Green, who was last seen defeating a 40-year-old Jim Miller.

Either Pimblett will silence the doubters, or the hype train will stop dead in its tracks.

Christian Leroy Duncan (10-1) vs. Gregory Rodrigues (15-5)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Duncan-125 🔥OFF-135-145-150
Rodrigues+105OFF+110+122+125 🔥

This fight has been moved way up to the main card, and four of our best sportsbooks offer odds for it after Christian Leroy Duncan's original opponent, Robert Bryczek, was replaced with Gregory Rodrigues.

Apparently, it doesn't matter who Duncan faces, though, because he's still as short as a -150 favorite. Those odds come with an implied probability of 60% that the Englishman will move to 11-1.

Arnold Allen (19-3) vs. Giga Chikadze (15-3)

Allen and Chikadze round out the main card, and the Englishman is priced as the significant favorite in this affair.

Allen is coming off back to back losses, but they came against two of the best fighters in the division in Max Holloway and Movsar Evloev. Allen is as short as -250 on the moneyline to end his losing streak, odds that come with an implied probability of 71.43% that he'll emerge victorious.

UFC 304 odds - Prelims

Nathaniel Wood (20-6) vs. Daniel Pineda (28-15)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Wood-410-430-450-440-400 🔥
Pineda+320+320+333 +340 🔥+300

The prelims are scheduled to conclude with a fight that's priced as an expected beatdown. Wood is as short as -450 through two of our sites with the best sportsbook promos

For those looking for a potential nice payday with the underdog, a $10 wager on Pineda would result in a $34 profit through FanDuel if he wins.

Molly McCann (14-6) vs. Bruna Brasil (9-4-1)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
McCann-345 🔥-355-350-350-350
Brasil+275+270+260 +275+275

McCann is perhaps best known for being friends with Pimblett, but as her odds suggest, she's a talented fighter in her own right. The -350 odds tell us McCann has roughly a 78% chance of making the English fans very happy with a win over Brasil.

Caolan Loughran (9-1) vs. Jake Hadley (10-3)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Loughran-218-225-225-220 -200 🔥
Taveras+180+180+185 🔥+180+170

All of our best live betting sites are now offering odds on this fight, as Caolan Loughran's new opponent, Jake Hadley, has been announced. Loughran serves as a fairly significant favorite, with odds as short as -225.

As the short-notice replacement, Hadley is a +185 underdog through BetMGM.

Modestas Bukauskas (15-6) vs. Marcin Prachnio (17-7)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Bukauskas-148 🔥-150-165-155-160
Prachnio+124+122+135 🔥+130 +130

These two fighters have been moved from the first fight of the night to the prelims, so maybe there was some sort of lottery among the bouts featuring the most collective losses.

Bukauskas is priced as a small favorite, with odds as short as -165. The general implied probability of the favorite winning across our top books is 60%, making this an intriguing opening to the card.

UFC 304 odds - Early prelims

Preston Parsons (11-4) vs. Oban Elliott (10-2)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Parsons-148-162-140 🔥-145-150
Elliott+124+132 🔥+115+122 +125

UFC 304's early prelims, also known as the only fights those in attendance won't be brutally exhausted during, conclude with this tightly priced affair featuring one of the rare favored American fighters.

Welsh fighter Oban Elliott serves as a small underdog in this one, though he presents an intriguing betting option at the +132 odds through FanDuel. A $10 wager would provide bettors with $13.20 in profit if the 10-2 fighter improves his impressive record.

Muhammad Mokaev (12-0) vs. Manel Kape (19-6)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Mokaev-170 -168-165-160 🔥-170
Kape+142 🔥+136+135+135 +140

Similar to the previously listed fight, this is a tightly priced affair, with Mokaev serving as a slight favorite over Kape.

The undefeated fighter is as long as -160 through Caesars for those looking for the best price, while multiple best sportsbooks offer Kape around +135 or better.

Sam Patterson (11-2-1) vs. Kiefer Crosbie (10-4)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Patterson-410-450-450-440-400 🔥
Crosbie+320+330+340+340+300

Based on the odds, this is the biggest mismatch of the early prelims, as England's Sam Patterson is a massive favorite against Ireland's Kiefer Crosbie.

Those in attendance will surely make their presence felt during this one, as any Irish fans will do their best to propel the +340 underdog to an upset victory. If you place a $10 wager on Crosbie and he can shock Patterson, you'll earn $34 in profit.

Mick Parkin (9-0) vs. Lukasz Brzeski (9-4-1)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Parkin-355-300 🔥-350-340-350
Brzeski+280+235+280+265 +275

This fight features one of two undefeated fighters on the card, and Parkin is a significant favorite to keep his 0 intact.

Brzeski's +280 odds at DraftKings imply he has only a 26% chance of winning this fight.

Shauna Bannon (5-1) vs. Alice Ardelean (9-5)

FighterDraftKingsFanDuelBetMGMCaesarsbet365
Bannon-180 -170-185-180-170
Ardelean+150+138+150 +150+140

All of our best sportsbooks have odds for this bout with Alice Ardelean officially being announced as the replacement against Shauana Bannon.

They all have Bannon priced as a fairly significant favorite. Even the long odds of -170 come with an implied probability of 63% that the Irish fighter will emerge victorious.

How to read UFC betting odds

Understanding UFC betting odds is essential for making informed wagers. Let's break it down with examples:

  • Positive odds (+): Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For instance, if a fighter has odds of +250, it means that a $100 bet on that fighter would yield a profit of $250 if they win the fight. So, your total payout would be $350 ($250 profit + $100 original stake).
  • Negative odds (-): Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For example, if a fighter has odds of -150, it means that you would need to bet $150 to win $100 in profit if that fighter wins. Your total payout would be $250 ($100 profit + $150 original stake).

Now, let's consider an actual UFC betting scenario:

  • Fighter A: +200
  • Fighter B: -180

For Fighter A (+200), a $100 bet would result in a $200 profit, making the total payout $300. For Fighter B (-180), you would need to wager $180 to win $100 in profit, resulting in a total payout of $280.

Understanding these odds helps you evaluate the potential payout and implied probability of each fighter winning a UFC fight. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.
