Simply, no other league in the world can brag like Premier League this week of having scheduled the last Champions League final in their weekend: Chelsea vs. Manchester City can already be particularly excruciating for Pep Guardiola. Also, an Arsenal vs. Tottenham in crisis regime.

Chelsea vs. Man City

Saturday, September 25, 2021 - 07:30 AM EDT at Stamford Bridge

Winning helps to win, it's an old law of football, and there is a reason why it exists and nobody dreamed to deny it. After lifting the Champions League trophy, Chelsea are even better than they were in the Porto final: more secure, more clinical, just looking superior than anybody else. And the addition of Lukaku is not the explanation, even though was the perfect boost as the striker, is exactly at the point of awareness and maturity that Chelsea needed upfront.

On the other side, in spite of having crashed the last league, Manchester City are now fragile as they never were before under Guardiola. The final defeat has left scars in their minds and mentality; a huge slice of the veterans felt betrayed by Pep for the way he bottled the final, switching positions and asking different duties. Mind: for basically all the City players on the pitch that day, that game was the most important in their career.

It's the trust in their skipper that is not the same as before. That doesn't mean it's for the good, but this is the situation at the moment, and the tasteless home draw against a normally helpless Southampton, it once again shows that there is something inside team spirit that has to be recovered still. But playing Chelsea is a completely different kind, and that will wake up the instinct of revenge of the whole squad.

Aside from the imminent situation, there is also the table where City are -3 from Chelsea joint leader, and definitely can't afford to see them escape at +6. Chelsea crashed Tottenham 3-0, and will go for great pace, which this time will be matched by City's. Anyway, when the frontline is playing the ball fast and wide like for example how Liverpool did, Chelsea are struggling to cope to develop their attacking game. A very level and it will be till the end.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham

Sunday, September 26, 2021 - 11:30 AM EDT at Emirates Stadium

Too bad to be true the Spurs losing 0-3 to Chelsea, or maybe the Blues are too good for them. The North London derby comes in a very weird moment: Arsenal had everything going bad, and then they doubled a 1-0 to Norwich and Burnley; Tottenham had everything going good, and then 3 winless games including the Europa League one, but especially a shocking 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace. But the values are still different, and this is the kind of match where the hierarchy can be re-established.

Leeds vs. West Ham

Saturday, September 25, 2021 - 10:00 AM EDT at Elland Road

No Premier League wins yet for Bielsa, and it seems incredible. Their scheduling has definitely been tough, but at least a couple of games would have been a victory last year. Leeds need all the power Elland Road can express, and as West Ham are playing as Leeds did last year - at least for the results - then they definitely won't underestimate the fixture. The David Moyes tactics could actually perfectly fit on Bielsa's, but only if he will obtain a proper performance.
