Premier League last round is going exactly in the direction it seemed to go when West Brom’s goal was wrongly called illegal against Liverpool. The Reds winning their easy games, Leicester losing to Chelsea and being leapfrogged by both of them, and finally the Foxes losing out on the Champions League spot they occupied in all last months. And actually against Tottenham they also have the most difficult task.

Leicester vs. Tottenham

Sunday, May 23, 2021 – 11:00 AM EDT at King Stadium

Leicester are equal on points with Liverpool (66) with Chelsea sitting 1 point above them. In goal difference, Liverpool are at +24, Chelsea at +23 and Leicester at +20. It means that it's so hard for Leicester. And actually, Spurs are the only ones that got something to play for, as currently are 7th and therefore in Conference League, with 59 points, the same as Everton, but with way better goal difference than them, and 1 point above Arsenal.

Although, it doesn't look like Tottenham care that much about getting into this, as their late home defeat to Aston Villa was pretty baffling. As if wasn't enough, Harry Kane dropped the bomb handing the transfer request and then with the Sky UK rocking interview to make the point more clear. All in all, Tottenham not even have yet a defined idea about who will be the next manager, and definitely the caretaker has been average as expected, but nobody can put blame on him.

So Leicester, in spite of having the most difficult task out of the three, still has a great option to win this, and actually, the odds on them are pretty favourable. But before losing to Chelsea, the Foxes won at Old Trafford and won the FA Cup. What is sentencing them are the 5 points dropped among Southampton and Newcastle. But now they will want to finish in style, and even though they now realize they could drop out, will anyway want to stand on their feet in spite of falling, a self-respect that Tottenham seemed totally to have lost lately.

Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace

Sunday, May 23, 2021 - 11:00 AM EDT at Anfield Road

Alisson and the referee sealed Liverpool's path to the Champions League. Now Crystal Palace are ready to be crucified. Former Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson, on his last day of managerial career, won't be able to put enough opposition. Obviously, the odds are ridiculously low on Liverpool, so the task is finding some value on them somewhere.

It was since September that Liverpool didn't line 4 wins in a row like now, and in the last game versus Burnley they have put a 3-0. Crystal Palace conceded 3 to Southampton and Arsenal, two of last three games, and so it can happen that Liverpool will win largely, with decent odds on them with 2¼ goals handicap, so with at least 3 goals gap advantage.

Aston Villa vs. Chelsea

Sunday, May 23, 2021 - 11:00 AM EDT at Villa Park

The best way to get things straight it's to make them straight from the very beginning. So Chelsea will address the game from the very start so that they won't risk starting to panic and will throw the pressure on the others. Weirdly enough it's been one month and a half that Chelsea don't win a Premier game from the first half, but that's the situation when they have to shape up.

Also, the fact that the Premier League had a midweek fixture means that Aston Villa will have more problems dealing with stamina management, considering they are not build up to cope with two games in a week. And anyway, under Tuchel there have been only 4 defeats out of 28 games, and never failing in big ones except for the FA Cup final itself.
