Madrid will be keen to bounce back from the aforementioned disappointing loss to their local rivals last weekend. They were unbeaten in their previous 12 matches and remain the dominant force in Spanish soccer.

Los Blancos are unbeaten at home this season, and apart from full-back Dani Carvajal, they're not missing any key players due to injury or COVID-19, so they should return to their winning ways.

On the road, Valencia tend to struggle in the first half and then improve after the break. They've conceded more first-half away goals this season than any other team in La Liga, and they've never been winning at half time. Madrid should be winning this game at the half and emerge victorious after 90 minutes.

Real Sociedad (-115)

Real Sociedad surged to the top of the table thanks to a very impressive winning streak in the opening months of the campaign. However, La Real have a small squad, and their form tailed off when injuries began to pile up. They lost four league games in a row before the winter break and then drew 1-1 with Alavés last weekend, which left them seventh in the table, 16 points behind Madrid.

La Real have been strong in the Europa League and Copa del Rey, but their last La Liga win came in early November. They need to bounce back, and a home game against Celta Vigo is a great opportunity to do so.
