The final round of fixtures in the Champions League Matchday 6 group stage takes place this week and there are some exciting games to look out for. Read on for picks and analysis.

Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Ajax, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan have already secured qualification for the knockout stage of the Champions League. Just one remaining place is up for grabs on Tuesday, and Porto, AC Milan, and Atlético Madrid are all fighting for it. However, that group has been very unpredictable thus far, so there is better value available elsewhere.

Here are my top betting picks and predictions for the Champions League Matchday 6 Tuesday schedule (odds via Unibet, pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Champions League Matchday 6 Tuesday Predictions

Man City to beat RB Leipzig (-105)

Man City surged to an entertaining 6-3 victory when it hosted RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium back in September.

Pep Guardiola's men are guaranteed to finish top of their group, so there is no need for them to win this game, and they are likely to rest several key players. However, a second-string City team should still have enough quality to beat RB Leipzig.

The German team fired manager Jesse Marsch at the weekend after a third consecutive defeat left them 11th in the Bundesliga table. They are in dire straits right now and City could inflict more misery upon their fans, making them a good bet for our Champions League Matchday 6 picks.

Real Madrid vs. Inter – both teams to score and Over 2.5 goals (-118)

Both of these teams are on fire right now. Real Madrid have surged to the top of the La Liga table after winning eight games in a row. Inter are on an 11-game unbeaten streak, and they have won their last five matches, so they are now the heavy favorites to win Serie A for a second consecutive season.

They played out a pretty drab game at the San Siro earlier this season. It seemed destined to finish 0-0 until Real Madrid forward Rodrygo hit a late winner. Yet Inter have been scoring goals for fun ever since then and they should find the back of the net in this game, which will determine the team that finishes top of the group.

Los Blancos will be without star striker Karim Benzema, who is injured, but a front three of Vinícius Júnior, Luka Jovi?, and Rodrygo should still cause Inter's defense problems.

Shakhtar Donetsk -1 Asian handicap vs. Sheriff Tiraspol (-114)

This unheralded Sheriff side made a flying start to the Champions League group stage by beating Shakhtar 2-0 and Real Madrid 2-1. However, they then ran out of steam. They lost 3-1 at home and 3-1 away to Inter, before suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Real Madrid last time out.

The Moldovan champions are now third in their group and are guaranteed to finish above Shakhtar.

However, Shakhtar will be keen to restore some pride on Tuesday. They are a much stronger team than Sheriff and should exact a measure of revenge to cap off my Champions League Matchday 6 picks.
