Many of Europe’s finest clubs will be in action on Tuesday. Read on for our analysis and Champions League Matchday 5 picks.

Chelsea will bid for revenge when they host Juventus in London on Tuesday. The Blues suffered a surprise defeat against the Bianconeri in Turin, but they should be able to turn the tables on their Italian opponents this week.

Meanwhile, the post-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era begins for Manchester United, while Barcelona’s Xavi will manage his first Champions League game.

Here are my top betting picks and predictions for the Champions League Matchday 5 Tuesday schedule (odds via Unibet, and pick confidence is based on a one-to-five star scale).

Champions League Matchday 5 Tuesday Predictions

Chelsea to Beat Juventus and Under 4.5 Goals (-122)

Chelsea was missing key midfielder N’Golo Kante when they lost to Juventus in Turin back in September after the Frenchman tested positive for Covid-19.

The Blues still dominated the game, finishing with 74% of the possession and 16 shots on goal. But they missed Kante’s drive, and they were wasteful in front of the goal. Juventus scored on its only shot on target to seal the win.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men now sit atop the group on 12 points, with Chelsea at nine points in second place. The Blues could still win the group – and potentially secure an easier Round of 16 clash if they beat Juventus on Tuesday.

They've been impressive in recent weeks, especially while easing past Leicester 3-0 over the weekend with Kante leading the charge. The Blues should prevail if they play to their full potential.

Atalanta to beat Young Boys (-114)

Atalanta battled to a 1-0 win over Young Boys when the teams met in Bergamo earlier this season. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men need to win this game because they sit third in their group, two points behind Manchester United and Villarreal.

Young Boys beat Manchester United in their opener after Aaron Wan-Bissaka received an early red card. But the club has lost all three games since then and sits at the bottom of the group.

Atalanta was missing injured forwards Josip Ilicic and Luis Muriel when they beat Young Boys in September. They're now back in business while returning to their free-scoring best. Atalanta should get the better of the Swiss champion this week.

Zenit to beat Malmo (-105)

Zenit eased to a 4-0 victory over Malmo when they clashed in Saint Petersburg on Sept. 29.

The Russian champion was up 2-0 when Malmo defender Anel Ahmedhodzic was sent off, and Zenit scored two late goals to wrap up the win.

The club lost at home and away to Juventus, and it suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, so it can't reach the knockout stage of the competition. However, Zenit will qualify for the Europa League if it finishes ahead of Malmo, a team that's lost all four games thus far.

Malmo played reasonably well during a recent 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea. But Zenit boasts more overall talent and should win this one.
