Canada did very well against Qatar, winning Friday’s friendly 2-0 in Wien. Its central European tour now takes it to Slovakia, where the Canadians will need to crack a tougher nut in Uruguay.

Led by Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez up front, the South Americans showed worrying liabilities against Iran, losing 1-0 last week. However, they're expected to change face when they play Canada on Tuesday.

This surely won't be boring to watch. Uruguay is superior, but it's not going to have an easy time with Les Rouges.

“We will need to put the work in for the next few days to make sure we are ready to go again,” Canada manager John Herdman said after the victory over Qatar, expecting a refresh from his boys ahead of the Uruguayan challenge.

Bayern star Alphonso Davies, who was subbed after 60 minutes against Qatar because of a knock, is expected back in the team, adding some bite in front of the opposition box. Jonathan David and Cyle Larin are not going to take it easy either if a chance comes, so Uruguay will have a lot on its plate.
