Three games to go in Bundesliga, and it’s a though end to the season: Bayern Munich are gonna seal in style their title hosting Monchengladbach, but most of all Dortmund vs. Leipzig could see Borussia restoring pride and establishment as RB Leipzig will be hit in their motivation even more than they already have shown, as hearing from the bad news in Munich. Strangely good odds on Eintracht winning against Mainz.
Dortmund vs. RB Leipzig
Saturday, May 08, 2021 – 09:30 AM EDT at Signal Iduna Park
The long-run from Borussia Dortmund is getting to the point. Aside from the fact they meanwhile reached the DFB Pokal final, but that was widely expected as they faced Holstein Kiel. The following week they will play again RB Leipzig for the trophy, so this could be a starter, but in that case, possibly Leipzig could be much more dangerous as the domestic cup will count for them much more, being in case their first-ever trophy after losing the final 2 years ago.
In Bundesliga is a completely different clash of motivations: now, hardly Leipzig will give up, but can't be overlooked that Dortmund won the last 4 games, basically since it really mattered to not get out of Champions League spots, being able also to go and command at Wolfsburg's house. This means they are now only -1 from Eintracht's 4th position and -2 from Wolfsburg's 3rd spot, while Leipzig at 7 points distant equally from top and Wolfsburg.
Leipzig won the last game with Stuttgart but what shocked the most is that in the last month and a half they have never been able to win two in a row. The odds on Dortmund are fantastic given their amazing form since the Champions League quarters. They are very confident which makes them look very strong.
Bayern Munich vs. Monchengladbach
Saturday, May 08, 2021 - 12:30 PM EDT at Allianz Arena
It seemed silly to question Bayern's focus on winning the title as soon as possible, as it usually goes from players and managers about whether would be better to celebrate the title on away ground, far from home or at home. But actually, it is exactly what has happened. In the last round Bayern lost surprisingly at Mainz, and they not even had the excuse of playing the Champions League midweek clash.
There could be many explanations of course, first of all, the fact that for Mainz was such a crucial win as basically gave them the virtual permanence. But actually the most reliable is really the one pointing at that Bayern would have preferred to celebrate at Allianz instead than on an away ground, considering they went on the pitch being +10 on Leipzig with 4 games to play.
Now, in theory against Gladbach, the opponent should be even stronger: they are -4 from Leverkusen's 6th spot that qualifies to Europa League, and they were able to trash 5-0 Arminia in the last round. But motivation is key, and this time around Bayern are very motivated. If at Mainz they scored only in the last minute of the game after losing 2-0, for the title game they will start strong and in style to lift the trophy as it deserves.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Mainz
Sunday, May 09, 2021 - 09:30 AM EDT at Deutsche Bank Park
Mainz beating Bayern is the best thing that could have happen to Eintracht, who instead dangerously lost at Leverkusen. All in all, they have the best weapons to bounce back and return to winning ways. Mainz are already safe while Eintracht could enter the pitch having been temporarily overtaken by Dortmund at the 4th spot. The odds on Eintracht seem even generous.
