The Bavarians were missing half their team due to a COVID-19 outbreak, but they should bounce back by beating Cologne this weekend. Meanwhile, second-placed Borussia Dortmund will bid to keep pace when they take on Freiburg.

Freiburg vs. Dortmund - both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals (-114)

Dortmund are now just six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich after they battled to a 3-2 away win against Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend. They now face another tough game against Freiburg, who are fourth despite a 2-2 draw last weekend against relegation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld.

Both teams to score and Over 2.5 goals has paid off in Freiburg's last two games, and it also paid off in Dortmund's last two games. The reverse fixture finished 2-1 to Freiburg, and we could see a similar scoreline on Friday, as Dortmund are lethal in attack but poor in defense.

Bayern to win and both teams to score (+120)

Bayern Munich were missing a long list of important players due to COVID-19 when they lost to Gladbach last weekend. But they should have a few of them back for this clash with Cologne, and they'll be desperate to return to winning ways.

The odds on Bayern to win have drifted out a little this week, but they're still best priced at just -265 with Unibet to win on the Moneyline. You can gain more value by throwing in both teams to score along with a Bayern win in a same-game parlay. Both teams to score has paid off in 14 of Cologne's 18 matches so far this season, and the reverse fixture finished 3-2 to Bayern.

Mainz to win & Under 4.5 goals (-105) ???

Bochum have a dreadful away record this season, having lost seven out of nine. That could explain why the odds on an ML win for Mainz have shortened over the past couple of days.

Mainz's recent form has been underwhelming, but they should have enough quality to win this game. Bochum have ridden their luck this season - their expected goals against (xGA) is 32.78, but they've conceded only 26, and their finishing has been poor.

Games featuring Mainz this season feature an average of 2.61 goals, while Bochum games average 2.39, so Mainz to win and Under 4.5 goals looks appealing.
