A much-anticipated WNBA semifinal series will continue Tuesday night, when the New York Liberty host the Connecticut Sun for Game 2 of a five-game series. The winner will earn a trip to the WNBA Finals to face the winner of the Las Vegas Aces and Dallas Wings matchup.

Breanna Stewart, who was named this year’s regular-season MVP on Tuesday, led the Liberty with 19 points. Jonquel Jones recorded 14 points, while Sabrina Ionescu added 12. New York needs more offensive firepower to even the series back up before heading to Connecticut. 

Oddsmakers like the Liberty’s chances, listing them as near-double-digit favorites for Tuesday’s Game 2. New York is still ahead of Connecticut in the latest WNBA championship odds, though those prices could change with another upset.
