Join us in reading this revealing NHL betting preview article for Minnesota vs. Dallas, that culminates with a money line betting system that’s gone 65-18 the past five seasons.

Saturday Night NHL in the Lone Star State
A pair of NHL Central Division rivals will square off on Saturday when the Minnesota Wild entertains the Dallas Stars at 8:05 PM ET. According to the NHL betting odds at 5Dimes, Dallas is a -140 money line favorite, and the posted total is 5.5. This will be the fourth meeting of the season between these clubs, and Minnesota won the first three. Two of those three contests went under the total. These teams split their four meetings a season ago, and the home team won on each of those occasions.

Nothing Wild for Minnesota
The Minnesota Wild is coming off a much needed 3-1 home win over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. The win was just their third in the last ten games. The Wild will also be playing their third game in the last four days. Minnesota faces a Dallas Stars team tonight which averages 3.0 goals per game. Minnesota has gone a horrible 5-20 on the road the last two seasons when facing an opponent that averages 3.0 or more goals per game.

Stars shine Bright
The Dallas Stars have seemed to have finally found their groove after an absolutely horrible start to the season. They enter tonight having gone 3-0 in the last 3 and 7-1 in their last 8-games. The Stars should have no excuses tonight. They’ll be playing in their third consecutive home game, and will be doing so on two days of rest. Dallas has gone an impressive 12-5 this season when playing just their second game in the last five days like they will be this evening. Kari Lehtonen will be in goal tonight for the Stars, and he’s been red-hot in his last four starts by posting an excellent .933 save percentage.

NHL Money Line Betting System
The Dallas Stars are allowing 3.3 goals per game this season. However, they allowed just 2-goals combined in their previous two games. This creates a terrific money line betting system that I can’t ignore when making my NHL picks for today.

Any money line home favorite (Dallas) that’s allowing an average of 3.0 goals or more per game on the season, and they’ve allowed 2-goals or less in each of their previous two games, has seen the home favorite go 65-18 (78.3%) during the past five seasons. What makes this system even more attractive is the fact that the average money line for the favorite in those contests was135.3, and that’s in very close proximity to tonight’s number.
