The Tuesday NHL card features 12 games on the schedule. We’ve got four of them covered with three picks below and an individual, full-feature preview of the Los Angeles-Montreal game.

Add Kings vs. Canadiens "Under" to your NHL Picks

Detroit Red Wings vs. Florida Panthers

The Red Wings are worth a look for your sports picks on Tuesday as they visit the struggling Panthers. Florida won in Detroit on Saturday but the Red Wings are actually a very bad home team this year and a very good road team. They’re 5-12 at home this season compared to 10-4 on the road.

There is a 14-point separation between the teams in the standings and that will show. I look for the Red Wings to repay the favor to the Panthers on Tuesday and get the win.

NHL Pick: Red Wings -106 at Pinnacle

New Jersey Devils vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

The Devils look like they’re worth a shot on Tuesday as they’re a road dog in Columbus. The main reasoning for this play is going to be fatigue as the Blue Jackets played on Monday night against the Penguins in Pittsburgh. This will be a quick turnaround. On top of that, they don’t have a significant home-ice advantage at 7-8 while the Devils have been rewarding bettors on the road recently as they’ve won five of their last seven away. Since we’re getting plus-money, I’ll take a shot with the Devils.

Boston Bruins vs. Calgary Flames

It’s not often that a Bruins has a total of 5.5 on the NHL odds but that’s what we see here on Tuesday. Only one of their last five games has seen more than five goals and the same goes for 16 of their last 20. The Flames have also morphed into an under team as their offense just can’t seem to light the lamp without sensational rookie Sean Monahan in the lineup. They’ve averaged just 2.4 goals per game in their last five since Monahan was injured. Take the under with your NHL picks in this one.
