It’s Saturday night and there a full slate of NHL games on tap. We have three strong totals picks. Go inside in order to find out what those picks are and why.

Vancouver vs. Toronto 7:05 PM ET
Toronto returns home for the first time since embarking on a three game road trip. The Maple Leafs have gone 4-0 under in their last four, and 7-1 under the total in their previous eight games. This will be the fifth of an eight game in twelve day road trip for Vancouver.

Any home team (Toronto) coming off three straight on the road, versus an opponent (Vancouver) coming off four straight on the road, resulted in those games going 103-55 (65.2%) under the total since 1996.

NHL Pick: Play on Under the total of 5.0 (+130) at The Greek

Arizona vs. Columbus 7:05 PM ET
Arizona enters today on a three game win streak, and that’s improved their season win percentage to a respectable .563. Despite an impressive 2-1 win at Pittsburgh last night, Columbus still possesses a winning percentage of just .294.

Any road team (Arizona) which has won each of their previous three games, and has a winning percentage of .510 to .600, versus an opponent (Columbus) with a winning percentage of .300 or less, resulted in those games going 30-8 (78.9%) under the total since 1996. Current NHL betting odds at Heritage provides me with the cheapest price for this specific wager.

NHL Pick: Play on Under the total of 5.5 (-120) at Heritage

Colorado vs. Montreal 7:05 PM ET
Montreal is coming off a 4-3 loss at Pittsburgh in their previous game. The Canadiens have now gone 8-2 over the total during their last ten games. Despite the loss, Montreal still has an excellent winning percentage of .765. The Canadiens power play has been outstanding this season by going a robust 16-for-59 (27.1%) with their man advantage opportunities.

Colorado is averaging 3.2 goals per game over their previous five contests. The Avalanche has a very respectable 18.7% conversion rate in 64 power play chances this season.

Any home team (Montreal) in the first half of the season, coming off a road one goal loss, and has a winning percentage of .700 or better, resulted in those games going 31-10 (75.6%) over the total since 1996. I like this game to be a high scoring affair for one of my NHL picks on Saturday.
