11-game card in the NHL on Saturday featuring games that start as early as 1:00 PM ET. Make sure you get your NHL picks in if you like the early games, below our three favorite puckline plays.

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
Odds:
Tampa Bay -225
The Tampa Bay Lightning are pretty tough to beat these days – especially at home where they have won nine straight. One of the few teams that’s managed to pull it off has been the Blue Jackets but it’s likely that that just puts the Lightning on high alert to make sure it doesn’t happen again. The Blue Jackets held the Lightning to just one goal in a 3-1 win on December 6th but that was when goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky stole the show. A lot has changed since then as the Blue Jackets will be without Bobrovsky on Saturday (injury) and have lost six of their last nine games overall.

Blue Jackets backup Curtis McElhinney is just 5-7-1 on the year with a 2.99 GAA. He has allowed at least three goals in each of the last two games that he’s subbed in for Bobrovsky.

The Lightning having revenge on their minds, take them with your NHL picks. They should be able to win big in this spot.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Odds:
Flyers -160
The Toronto Maple Leafs are a complete mess right now as they’ve lost eight straight overall and 16 of their last 19 games. They’re fresh off an ugly 3-1 home loss to the Arizona Coyotes, which included the Coyotes goal on a shot that came from center ice. While the Leafs meltdown continues – they’ve scored one goal or less in seven of their last eight games – there’s little reason to have faith in them in Philadelphia Flyers team that is on a bit of a roll.

The Flyers have won three straight and four of five, and their offense is clicking. They’ve scored 20 goals over their last five and shouldn’t have many problems against a Leafs team that is giving up goals by the bunch and aren’t even trying that much anymore, so take Philadelphia on the puck line as NHL odds has them as favorite for this evening game.

Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames
Odds:
Flames -220
The Calgary Flames have won five straight against the Oilers but considering how they are playing these days, it doesn’t make sense to lay this type of juice with them. They have lost two of three and four of five at home. As for the Oilers, they have a bit of a pulse these days as they’ve won three of four – if you can believe that.

Given the trends of both teams, the Oilers are worth a look on the puck line. Look for this to be a hotly contested game with a close result
