The NHL slate on Monday is relatively light, but there are still more than a few bets worth making. Here are the best parlay picks for Monday's NHL schedule.

The NHL is typically slower on Monday nights and this week is no different. There are only four games on the docket, with two of them being between two not-so-great teams.

Nevertheless, we have our NHL parlay picks for Monday's slate. We’re focusing on a total, a favorite at home, and a player prop to close things out.

Here are my top parlay picks for Monday’s NHL matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top NHL Parlay Picks

Kraken-Sabres Over 5.5 (+110) ???Jets -1.5 (-120) ????Bo Horvat Over 2.5 shots on goal (-105) ???

NHL Parlay Predictions

Kraken-Sabres Over 5.5 (+110)

The Seattle Kraken and Buffalo Sabres are two of the worst teams in the league. They're both in the bottom-five in goals against per game, with Buffalo at 3.33 and Seattle at 3.48. They're not too offensively challenged, either, with the Sabres averaging 2.81 goals per game and the Kraken at 2.76.

Both expected starting goalies, Chris Driedger and Dustin Tokarski of the Kraken and Sabres, respectively, have a goals against average over 3.00. Driedger has a .870 save percentage as well, with Tokarski sporting a more respectable .910 SV%.

I expect sloppy play on both sides, opening up scoring opportunities against these bad goalies. It's a solid plus-money start to our NHL parlay picks.

Jets -1.5 (-120)

The Winnipeg Jets snapped a five-game losing skid on Saturday, and that victory should have them feeling good as they host the Arizona Coyotes.

Arizona is the lowest-scoring team in the league with 1.86 goals per game, and one of the worst defensively, allowing 3.57 goals per game.

The Jets have the offensive firepower to put up at least four goals, as they've done in nine of 21 games. G Connor Hellebuyck shouldn't allow more than one or two to the Coyotes.

Winnipeg is a humongous favorite on the moneyline, but the puck line brings it down to -120 in a game that shouldn’t be all that close.

Horvat Over 2.5 SOG (-105)

We’re digging deeper into the bag of tricks with Monday's four-game slate for a player prop to close out the parlay.

The Vancouver Canucks captain averages 2.77 shots on goal per game, and the Canadiens allow 32.9 shots per contest.

Horvat didn't shoot too much to start the season with 10 shots in his first six games. However, he had three or more SOG in 11 of his last 16 contests. That has improved recently, too, with 3-plus SOG in four straight games, six of his past eight, and nine of his last 12 contests.

He should hit the three SOG mark again on Monday to close out our NHL parlay picks.

Combined odds: Kraken-Sabres Over 5.5 (+110) + Jets -1.5 (-120) + Horvat Over 2.5 SOG (-105) = +651
