Top NHL Parlay Picks for Wednesday

Wednesday night hockey is here! There are more than a few good matchups to watch for our top NHL parlay picks.

It’s already the middle of the week and Wednesday offers us six games to choose from in the NHL.

For Wednesday's top NHL parlay picks, we’re focusing on a hot team at home, a superstar looking to shoot, and a rested team on the road.

Here are my top parlay picks for Wednesday’s NHL matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Philadelphia Flyers vs. New York Rangers to win in regulation (-120) ????Vegas Golden Knights (-155) vs. Anaheim Ducks ????Sidney Crosby Over 2.5 shots on goal (-110) ????

NHL Parlay Predictions

Rangers to win in regulation (-120)

The Rangers host the Flyers in a Metropolitan Division matchup, and these are two teams headed in different directions.

The Flyers have lost six straight games, with four of them being multi-goal defeats. They've also gone just 2-6-2 over their last 10 games with all six regulation losses by at least three goals.

The Rangers, on the other hand, are flying right now, making them a strong start to our NHL parlay picks. They've won three straight games and seven of their last eight contests. That includes regulation wins against the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Florida Panthers. 

The Flyers should be an easy task for a Rangers team that hasn't played since Friday, giving them four days off before this cupcake matchup.

Crosby Over 2.5 SOG (-110)

Crosby was held without a shot last game, but that's a rare occurrence for him. The Pittsburgh Penguins captain averages 2.60 SOG per game and prior to last game had four straight games (and five of six) with at least three shots.

The Edmonton Oilers offer a soft defense for Crosby and the Penguins to attack. Pittsburgh averages 35.4 SOG per game and Edmonton allows 34.0 SOG per game. The Oilers gave up at least 31 SOG in six of their last seven contests, including 38 to Vegas and 47 to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Penguins should get plenty of shots against the Oilers and Crosby will get his fair share. Over 2.5 SOG is a strong addition to our NHL parlay picks.

Golden Knights (-155)

The Golden Knights have had three days off since their last game, when they suffered a 3-2 loss to the Oilers, to prepare for the Ducks. Anaheim nearly blew its game against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday but pulled it out in a shootout. Now the Ducks return home less than 24 hours later to host the rested Golden Knights.

The Ducks lost their first two games in the second half of a back-to-back this season, and I expect Wednesday to be no different. Vegas is still missing a few players, but it has a solid top-six group as well as G Robin Lehner in net.

Anaheim should struggle against a fresh Knights team, giving us Vegas at -155 to close out our NHL parlay picks.

Combined odds: Rangers regulation (-120) + Crosby O2.5 SOG (-110) + Golden Knights (-155) = +475
