Tuesday’s Profits

A profitable day? That is a weird feeling in 2021. Not going to attempt to break down the cold jaded disposition I currently hold towards this season until there’s at least a dozen more of ’em!

Came out on the winning side of all three NHL markets last night. Also, though, it was one of the nights just about every price moved against me, with the exception of the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals. It was nice to get those slight dog wins, but it was really beautiful to get a hit on the Detroit Red Wings to end the Carolina Hurricanes’ eight-game winning streak. My percentage for them was 38… the lowest of all the home teams. The Anaheim Ducks were in with a chance about halfway into their foray with the Colorado Avalanche, before self-destructing and allowing SIX straight goals against.

Coming into today, we are continuing with a B bet on the Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets. However, no new series will be starting. I also have flat bets on smallish home dogs in the Ottawa Senators and Los Angeles Kings. Just the one first-period total qualified, but there may be some full-game totals I post around an hour before puck drop.

I have brought the flat bets back to just about even, a couple of wins from our two Canadian clubs would go a long way toward doing the same for the progressions.

Always risking 1u, never ‘to win’ 1u. If I expose two, that still remains risking 2u, not betting 2.5 to win 1 simply because the price is shorter than what I have. A standard stake here is 1u = 1% of your bankroll. This will keep you in the game instead of busting out every other day because you decided to be stupid and put your entire bankroll down on 8 wagers. If you have worse prices don’t bet more to compensate. Please do not attach my plays in parlays, you are costing yourself extra money trying to cut corners.
