I love being in a position to create a new bankroll high with a win. With a victory tonight, we'll push our bankroll to almost 18 units on the season after the Anaheim Ducks cashed a plus money ticket for my followers.

With as much success the Sharks have had at the SAP Center this season, the Calgary Flames haven't been a gracious guest. The Sharks are just 1-3-2 at him against Calgary in their last six games. The three losses all came by one goal with one loss coming in overtime and one in a shootout.

Even though the Sharks just finished a successful road trip it's the last game against Chicago that probably has them thinking they need to be better defensively.  San Jose allowed three third-period goals in a 4-1 loss to the Blackhawks. San Jose managed just six 1st period shots.

I don't expect the Sharks to have a problem limiting the Flames offensive chances as opponents average just 26.2 shots per game good for second in the league. The Flames average only 28.1 shots per game which rank next to last.  It's easy to draw the conclusion that the Sharks will have little problem keeping the puck out of their own net unless martin Jones has an uncharacteristic performance. Tough to imagine that too as Jones hasn't allowed three goals since October 17th.

Chad Johnson will start in goal for the Flames. Johnson has taken the starting job from Brian Elliot posting 2.22 goals against average and a .924 save percentage. I'm confident that both netminders will give us an opportunity to cash our ticket.

The ice surface also has to be considered.

It will be a doubleheader at the SAP Center as the San Jose Barracudas will face the Stockton Heat before the Sharks, Flames. An important fact that could have an effect on the ice surface. If it's slow and chippy this will play into our 'under' pick

We have a few trends working in our favor.  The 'under' is 15-5-1 in the Flames last 21 road games as they seem to tighten up the defensive while lacking offense on the road. The 'under' is 23-7-8 in the Sharks last 38 games overall.

Let's cash this ticket as we establish a new bankroll high.
