2013-14 NHL Stanley Cup Betting Futures

St. Louis Blues vs. Colorado Avalanche

I’m going to keep using the Blues for my NHL picks as this is a team on a roll. With Ryan Miller in net, they’re playing with a ton of confidence these days.

Colorado is a good team and comes into this game as winners of four straight, but the Blues have feasted on their division this year. They’ve won 16 of 17 divisional games. I’ll take a shot with them on Saturday, which is a day they’ve won 13 of their 16 games.

NHL Pick: Blues -115 at Pinnacle

Phoenix Coyotes vs. Washington Capitals

The Capitals have lost three straight but I expect them to start trending upwards shortly. With Jaroslav Halak in net, this is a team that should be one of the top eight in the Eastern Conference.

Phoenix is just 8-17 when on the road with a total of 5.5 and has lost 15 of their last 24 overall. The Caps should be able to get back in the win column on Saturday night.

NHL Pick: Capitals -120 at 5Dimes

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

The perception of the Flyers is that their having a lousy season and the perception of the Leafs is that they’re having a pretty good year. However, when you look at the standings, the Flyers are just two points back of the Leafs and have a game in hand.

The Flyers are on fire these days as they’ve won seven of their last eight games. They’re worth adding to your NHL picks on Saturday because they’re the team that’s playing better, they’re the underdog on the NHL odds board and they’ve won three of their last four trips to Toronto.

NHL Pick: Flyers +105 at SportsInteraction
