New York is:

43-16 in their last 59 vs. a team with a losing record

37-14 in their last 51 when their opponent scores two goals or less in their previous game

Florida beats Tampa Bay twice in a row and the Rangers fall to Tampa Bay. That means that Florida should beat the Rangers here, Right? Not tonight, the Rangers are the play here as they have owned this Panthers team of late and Lundqvist has tremendous numbers vs them in his career. Yes when a team’s long losing streak comes to an end they usually duplicate that result in their next game, but that won’t happen here. The talent and history are both on the side of the Rangers and that should translate to a big bounce back win from them here. Against the NHL odds, go with Rangers as the NHL pick.
