The Rangers are looking to bounce back on Friday night in Buffalo after a loss in New Jersey on Thursday. Read on for our best Rangers-Sabres NHL pick based on the top NHL odds.

The Rangers’ three-game win streak was snapped on Thursday, but they'll look to get back to their winning ways in Buffalo. New York has been impressive over the last few weeks with a 9-2-1 record since March 9.

On the other side, the Sabres are looking to finish a transition year on a high note. They're 4-8-3 since Feb. 28 after it looked like the team might push for a playoff spot.

Here is our best Rangers-Sabres NHL pick (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Rangers vs. Sabres pick

Rangers (-142 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s expected to be backup goalie Jaroslav Halak (10-8-3, 2.68 goals-against average, .905 save percentage) in net for the Rangers, but New York still holds the upper hand.

Devon Levi is set to make his professional debut for the Sabres after posting a .933 SV% over 34 games with Northeastern University in 2022-23. Buffalo could also be without budding star Tage Thompson, who's facing a game-time decision due to an upper-body injury.

The Rangers are 7-5-2 on no days without rest and 3-2-0 after a loss. They can bounce back quickly, especially against a struggling squad like the Sabres.
