Friday brings us an abbreviated three-game slate. Despite the limited action, we'll break down a few NHL prop picks that we hope bring us value and profit.

For today's NHL props, we're betting on Jonathan Huberdeau and Jason Robertson to continue their torrid scoring streaks for the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars, respectively. Additionally, we'll be banking on a Colorado Avalanche offensive explosion.

Here are my top NHL prop picks for Friday's matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top NHL Prop Picks

Jonathan Huberdeau Over 1.5 points (+160) ????Jason Robertson anytime Scorer (+205) ???Colorado Avalanche team total Over 4.5 (+100) ?????

Top NHL Prop Predictions

Huberdeau Over 1.5 points (+160)

A casual hockey fan may not recognize how talented Jonathan Huberdeau is. Buried in the barren South Florida hockey market, the Florida Panthers winger long hasn't received the attention he deserves.

Huberdeau currently sits fifth in the NHL scoring race with 47 points over 36 games played. He is a fantastic playmaker, with 34 of his points coming via the assist.

Huberdeau is a well-rounded superstar. He can do it all and plays on the first power-play and penalty-kill units.

He has registered two points or more four times in his past six games. Tonight, his team faces off against the Dallas Stars, with a game total of 6.5.

Look for Huberdeau to further pad his stats, and our NHL prop picks, in a tilt that's expected to be high scoring.

Robertson anytime scorer (+205)

Jason Robertson may be the best-kept secret in hockey. Like Huberdeau, he plays in a southern market that isn't genuinely passionate about hockey.

The Dallas Stars winger currently sits second on his team in scoring with 32 points and averages just under a point per game for his career. Put this man on an Original Six franchise and you wouldn't stop hearing his name. But hey, at least he gets to enjoy some nice Texas barbecue.

Robertson has five goals in his past seven games played. If the Stars keep up with the offensively gifted Panthers, Robertson should be involved. We'll look to ride his hot hand in our NHL prop picks and hope the burgeoning star buries another.

Avalanche team total Over 4.5 (+100)

The Colorado Avalanche enter this matchup as the highest-scoring team in the NHL with 142 goals.

Not only are they loaded on offense, but Cale Makar and Devon Toews solidify one of the best defensive corps in the league, as well.

Led by superstars Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, and the resurgent Nazem Kadri, this team is intimidating and sitting as the rightful Stanley Cup favorite at (+550) odds.

The Avalanche have exceeded the 4.5 goal total twice in their last four games. Coming off a tough overtime loss to the Nashville Predators, look for them to rebound tonight when they face off against the lowly Arizona Coyotes.
