Game 2 of NHL Western Conference Finals
The Ducks and Blackhawks will meet in Game 2 of the NHL Western Conference Finals on Tuesday at the Honda Center in Anaheim. The opening puck drop is slated for 9:05 PM ET. According to the NHL betting odds at 5Dimes, Anaheim is a -120 money line favorite, and the posted total is 5.0. Anaheim won the series opener on Sunday 4-1. Counting the three regular season meetings, these teams are now 3-0-1 under the total in their four encounters.

Hawks Resiliency put to a Test
The Chicago Blackhawks are in need of a bounce back performance tonight after a less than impressive showing in Game 1. Despite that loss, the Blackhawks are a stellar 33-16 this season versus opponents with a winning percentage of better than .500. Anaheim not only won Game 1 but they dominated Chicago physically. The good news for Blackhawks fans is their team has gone 3-0 in the last 3, and 8-4 during their previous twelve games following a loss. On a different note, Chicago has gone 4-1-1 over the total in their six road games during the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Dynamite at the Duck Pond
Anaheim has been dominant at home in these playoffs, going a perfect 6-0, and outscoring the opposition by a cumulative score of 20-7. The Ducks have also gone an incredible 15-1 this season at home when the total is 5.0 or less like it will be this evening.

NHL Money Line Betting System
Chicago had their five game winning streak halted in the opening game of this series. Tonight will be just their third game in the last fourteen days. These facts combine to set up a very successful money line betting system, and I’ll be utilizing that valuable handicapping tool to make one of my NHL picks.

Any money line road underdog of +100 to +150 that’s won four or five of their previous six games, and is playing in their third game or less during the last ten days, resulted in that road underdog going 37-19 (66.1%) since the start of the since the start of the 2011-2012 NHL campaign.

NHL Pick: Chicago +110 on the money line over Anaheim at Pinnacle.
