We're getting into the exciting part of the NHL season with busy schedules for most teams. Tonight is no different with 11 games on the docket. For Tuesday's top NHL parlay picks, I'm looking at two slight underdogs and a reliable favorite to get the job done.
Here are my top parlay picks for Tuesday's NHL matchups (odds via BetMGM Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale).

Penguins (+105)
It's rare to find a team as good as the Pittsburgh Penguins as home underdogs, even if it's only at +105. The Penguins have the rest advantage as well with three days off while the Florida Panthers played last night.
Florida is coming off a 6-1 win in Buffalo, but the Panthers didn't play all that well. They took just one more shot than they allowed (31-30) and were treading water in a tough first period. Florida is just 3-3-1 on no days rest this season and has lost six of its last seven games when it's the fourth game in six nights, as it is tonight.
The Penguins won the first meeting 3-2 in a shootout back in November. While the Panthers will struggle with fatigue, the Penguins are 6-0-1 on three days rest or more this season.
Goaltender Tristan Jarry (27-11-6, .921 SV%, 2.30 GAA) has been great this season and has allowed one goal on 48 shots in his last two starts. It'll be Sergei Bobrovsky for Florida. He has a save percentage under .900 since the All-Star break.
Take the Penguins as rare home underdogs to kick off the NHL parlay picks.

Rangers (+120)
We're adding another underdog to the parlay with the New York Rangers in Minnesota. This game is all about goaltending.
Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin is the Vezina Trophy favorite and should be in the Hart Trophy conversation. He's 28-6-3 with a .942 SV% and 1.93 GAA this season. Assuming he starts, which he should, the Rangers are a great value play here. Cam Talbot will start for Minnesota. The former Ranger is 1-4-0 with a .864 SV% in his last five starts. He allowed four goals or more in each of those games.
The Rangers have won three straight, five of their last seven, and seven of their last 10. The Wild have lost two straight, six of their last seven (with the only win being against the lowly Philadelphia Flyers), and eight of their last 10 (the other win was against the Oilers on a back-to-back for Edmonton).
Add some more value to this parlay with the Rangers at +120, assuming Shesterkin starts.
Lightning (-175)
After starting with two underdogs, we're going to the reliable Tampa Bay Lightning to finish off the parlay. Tampa Bay has won two straight games and seven of its last eight contests. On the other hand, Winnipeg has lost two straight and six of its last eight games.
Those recent records reflect the team's play. The Lightning have the fourth-best xGF% at 5-on-5 play (54.86%) over the last 10 games while the Jets sit in the lower half (48.83%).
Going on the road hasn't been a problem for Tampa Bay. It is 18-7-2 on the road and 19-5-4 at home. Meanwhile, home ice hasn't necessarily been an advantage for the Jets, who are just one game above .500 (14-11-2) in Winnipeg.
The Lightning will stay hot and the Jets will stay cold in Winnipeg tonight.
Combined Odds: Penguins (+105) + Rangers (+120) + Lightning (-175) = +608
