Montreal Canadiens vs. New Jersey Devils
The Montreal Canadiens looks like they’re worth the price of admission on the NHL odds here as they’re a slight road favorite. They are 6-0-1 in their last seven and are coming off a 3-2 win over these very same Devils. Their defense has been great as they’ve allowed two goals or fewer in 10 of their last 11 games. Facing a New Jersey squad that struggles to score on their own figures to produce another win for Montreal. Add them to your NHL picks.
Pick: Canadiens -118 at Bookmaker
The Flames are not surprisingly a home dog as they have just three wins in their last 12 games. They’ve already lost once to the Coyotes this season, dropping a 4-2 result back on October 22nd.
I don’t care to lay the juice with the Coyotes as they’ve been struggling lately and are playing a back-to-back after skating in Edmonton last night. Instead, I’ll go with the under as the Flames have had a tough time scoring recently. They’ve tallied just 11 goals in their last five games. Combined with Phoenix’ potential fatigue, I’ll take the under.

Seeing the Flyers as a road dog entices me to take a shot with them. They’ve been playing their best hockey of the season over the last couple of weeks, going 8-3-1. As for the Red Wings, they’ve won four straight but they’re just 5-10 at home this season. They’re also without Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk, which are their two best offensive players. I’ll add the Flyers to my NHL picks in this spot.
