Pittsburgh Penguins @ New Jersey Devils
Although the NHL odds have been dropping on the Pens due to all of the injuries (odds makers are not charging us as much as they usually do because this team is so banged up), the Pens are still winning and I’m liking the odds on Tuesday. The Pens are a -120 favorite in New Jersey and they enter the game as winners of 11 of their last 13. As for the Devils, they don’t have much of a home-ice advantage with a record of 7-10 at home. I’ll add the Pens to my sports picks.
Pick: Penguins -120 at Pinnacle
Philadelphia Flyers @ Calgary Flames
The Flyers have a little bit of momentum right now, so I’ll take them with my NHL picks when they visit the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. The Flyers have won five of six and are making a little bit of a climb in the Eastern Conference thanks to their revived offense, which has scored 22 goals in their last five contests.
As for the Flames, they’ve dropped six of seven. Since the Flyers aren’t costing us much on the lines, I’ll lay the small amount of juice with them.
Pick: Flyers -115 at 5Dimes
San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks
The Ducks and Sharks are finishing up a home-and-home series and after San Jose took Round 1, I’ll take a shot with the Ducks to win round two. Anaheim is a very small favorite for this game with understandable reason. The Sharks are a quality foe and sit just five points back of the league-leading Ducks, who are at 61 points. However, the Sharks are just 11-10 (11-7-3) on the road compared to 14-1-3 at home. As for the Ducks, they are 14-11 (14-8-3) on the road but are 14-0-2 at home. They’re the only team that has yet to lose in regulation at home and I’m counting on that home-ice advantage as well as the revenge factor to help us cash in on Tuesday.
Pick: Ducks -113 at Pinnacle
