We have a busy night of hockey this evening, so it has taken some extra work to analyze the betting lines and provide the top 4 NHL picks likely to cash for you.

Ten games highlight the NHL odds boards for tonight, but we have evaluated and chosen four matchups that bring value with our picks.

Take a look at our hockey picks for Thursday night action:

New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins

The Devils will look to snap a four-game losing streak tonight, but to do so, they must beat the Bruins, who have won six of their last seven games played on their home ice.

Yes, the Bruins are 2 to 1 favorites (-200) on the NHL odds boards in this one, but for good reason, as the Devils have notched just one victory in their last ten road games. Additionally, the Bruins have beaten the Devils five straight in Boston.

NHL Pick: Bruins -200

New York Islanders at Washington Capitals

The Islanders have had little success beating the Capitals, producing an overall record of just 17-40-3, which also includes a mark of 8-20-2 when meeting them in Washington.

Even though the Islanders have won five of their last six games overall and own a winning record on the road this season (11-5-1), backing the Capitals at-140 is a bit of a bargain. Washington has won just one of their last seven games against teams from Atlantic Division, but I still like them in this spot.

NHL Pick: Capitals -140

Philadelphia Flyers at Toronto Maple Leafs

The Flyers are a last place team, but they have been playing better as of late, winning the last three outings. The Maple Leafs also carry a three-game winning streak with them into this matchup, but they are only 3-9 in their last 12 meetings with the Flyers.

Philadelphia is only 5-16 in their last 21 games on the highway and as a result they are listed as a +125 money line underdog on the NHL odds boards. However, I see value with Philadelphia in this spot to beat Toronto.

NHL Pick: Flyers +125

St. Louis Blues at Chicago Blackhawks

The Blues have failed to win in each of their last four matchups against the Blackhawks overall; and they are just 7-21 in the 28 meetings that take place in Chicago.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have produced a stellar 13-3-1 record on their home ice this season; and at -155 on the NHL odds boards, I easily see them pushing that number to 14 wins after tonight’s contest wit the Blues.

The Blackhawks know how to take care of business when facing division rivals, winning 40 of their last 52 against Central foes.

NHL Pick: Blackhawks - 155 at Bookmaker.eu
