In today’s “NHL Picks of the Day” article we’ll hone in on the games between the Stars/Flames and Ducks/Senators. Read this revealing piece which includes money line selections in each of those previously mentioned games.

Dallas Stars vs. Calgary Flames
The Calgary Flames enter tonight riding a 6-game losing streak. Despite their recent struggles, the Flames are still above water with a 17-16 (.515) money line mark on the year. They will be facing an opponent (Dallas) tonight which has gone 12-18 (.400) against the money line on our NHL odds during this 2014-2015 campaign. The Flames have gone 15-5 in the past 2-seasons versus opponents with a winning percentage of .250 to .400.

The Dallas Stars enter tonight riding a modest 2-game winning streak. The Stars have gone a dismal 6-16 the past 2-seasons after winning each of their previous 2-games. The Stars were a 2-0 winner at Vancouver in their previous game, and that contest easily went under the total of 5.5. Dallas has gone an atrocious 2-11 this season following 1 or more games in a row that stayed under the total.

NHL Betting System
Any money line home favorite (Calgary) that’s lost 5 or more games in a row, and has a winning percentage of .510 to .600 on the season, has gone a terrific 50-7 (87.7%) since 1997.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators
The Anaheim Ducks are coming off a solid performance last night in a 2-1 road win at Montreal. The win improved the Ducks money line road record to 12-6 on the season. It was also the 8th win in their last 9-games overall. Since the start of the 2010-2011 NHL campaign, Anaheim has won all 4 of their games versus Ottawa, and held the Senators to exactly 1-goal in each of those contests.

The Ottawa Senators return home following a successful 3-game road trip that saw them go 2-1, and earn 5 out of 6-points that were possible. However, they’ve gone just 6-7 against the money line on home ice this season, and that includes 1-3 in their last 4 at the Canadian Tire Centre.

Final Analysis
The Senators are still a team in transition following a head coaching change that occurred last week. They will be facing a red-hot opponent tonight that isn’t fazed by playing on the road. I’m gooing to use the road team in this contest tonight for one of my NHL picks.
