Colorado Avalanche vs. Nashville Predators
The Avs have lost three straight but there’s a good chance that ends on Monday. They had a rough schedule last week with a back-to-back setup in Canada followed by a third game in four nights against Boston on Friday. They’ve been off since that Friday game and should regroup against a Predators team that is 29th in scoring at home compared to 18th in scoring on the road. Because of that, the Preds are just 17-21 at home compared to 16-20 on the road. Take a shot with the Avs on the NHL odds.

Buffalo Sabres vs. Montreal Canadiens
With Carey Price getting the night off on Monday, I’m going to expect he’s back in net on Tuesday and helps lead us to an under. For his career, he’s got a 2.00 GAA and .933 save percentage against Buffalo. He shouldn’t have a tough time padding those stats as the Sabres have scored just 11 goals in their last nine games. Only two of the Sabres last 11 games have seen more than five goals. With Price playing well right now, I’ll be looking for another under with my NHL picks.

St. Louis Blues vs.
Toronto Maple Leafs
The St. Louis Blues look like a no-brainer for your NHL picks on Tuesday. Toronto is coming undone right now as they’ve lost five straight. They still haven’t received the services of Jonathan Bernier, who is skating but is not active yet. With James Reimer in net, the Leafs have allowed at least three goals in five straight games. In total, they’ve allowed an average of 3.9 goals per game over their last seven. It’s hard to trust the Leafs in a spot like this, going up against an elite team, knowing they’re going to cough up at least three goals. The Blues have the upper hand here.
