Saturday is an action-packed day in the NHL with nine games on the card. We’ve circled the three games we like most, so here’s our NHL picks for Saturday:

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins have been on a roll, so I’ll look for them to help us cash in one more time. They’re a -200 favorite over Carolina and while I won’t be laying that type of juice, I’ll take them on the puck line.

The Bruins have now won seven straight and have covered the puck line in five of those wins. Carolina is not a very good team as they’ve dropped six of their last seven road games. They also haven’t fared well in this series as they’ve lost four of the last five meetings.

Pick: Bruins -1.5 +150 at SportsInteraction

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Minnesota Wild

Even though the Blue Jackets are coming off a loss, they’ve been playing well. They are 5-1-1 in their last five. As for the Wild, they’ve dropped three of four.

The Blue Jackets have won two straight in this series and I just see them as having some value on the lines. They’re a bit too big of an underdog in this spot given how the two teams have been playing recently.

Pick: Blue Jackets +132 at BetMarathon

Anaheim Ducks vs. Los Angeles Kings

The Ducks have had a very busy week and Saturday games will not only be a back-to-back situation for them, it’s also their third game in four nights and fourth in six nights. They could be particularly spent on Saturday because on Friday night, they are playing the upstart Colorado Avalanche and it’s a revenge game for them. Those two teams had some bad blood between them the first time they met.

That being the case, I look for the Ducks to be a bit gassed and for the Kings to take advantage. Also, the Kings have played much better than the Ducks of late, so that’s what warrants laying the -135.

Pick: Kings -135 at Bovada
