The Sabres come in off a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Canucks and now look to snap their 7  game losing streak to Tampa Bay, while the Lightning look to turn around their 2-6 slide they are riding.

When: 7:30 PM ET, Tuesday, November 10, 2015
Where: Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida
Lines: Tampa Bay -255
NHL Total Odds: 5

Ristolainen’s Late Goal Leads Sabres over Canucks
Rasmus Ristolainen actually scored two goals in the win, but it was the one with just 17 seconds left in the game that gave Buffalo the win over Vancouver on Saturday night. For Ristolainen, it was his 2nd and third goals of the year. Also scoring for the Sabres was Jamie Mcginn, while getting the win in goal was Linus Ullmark, who is now 3-2 with a 2.56 GAA on the year. Starting tonight should be Chad Johnson, who is 3-6 with a 2.94 GAA on the year and is 0-3 with a 3.06 GAA vs Tampa Bay in his career.

The Sabers have now won three of their last four games and that lone loss was vs these Tampa Bay Lightning. Buffalo is now 0-7 the last seven in this series, including going 0-3 vs the Lightning this year, scoring no more than one goal in each game. Buffalo is 25th in the league in scoring (2.2 gpg) and 24th in goals allowed (2.9 gpg).

Tampa Bay Is Struggling To Score
The Tampa Bay Lightning were a top 10 scoring offense last year, but this year they check in at 22nd in the league so far, putting up just 2.4 gpg. The Lightning are 2-6 in their last eight games and have scored four goals in each of their two wins, but they have scored a total of three goals in their six losses over that stretch. Easy to figure out what the problem is with this team right now.

They come in off a tough 1-0 loss at Minnesota, which was the third time they have been shutout in their last eight games. Ben Bishop had an excellent game, but just didn’t get support from his offense. You have to feel for Bishop as he has now lost his last five starts, but hasn’t allowed more than two goals in any of those games. He should get the nod tonight and is 6-1 with a 1.63 GAA in his career vs Buffalo.

Buffalo: The Under is 23-9-6 in their last 38 games playing on two days rest. The Under is 20-8-5 in their last 33 after allowing two goals or less in their previous game

Tampa Bay: The Under is 5-1 in their last six home games The Under is 18-7-1 the last 26 home games in this series

Betting Analysis
Can Buffalo break through ad get a win here? Who the heck knows, but I do know that it should be a low scoring game. Tampa Bay is have all sorts of problems scoring ring now and they have held Buffalo to just one goal in each of the three games played between these teams this year. All three games saw five or less goals being scored and the under is now 12-3-2 the last 17 times these teams have hooked up. Go low in this one.
