The Rangers come off a horrible 2-1 home loss to the Edmonton Oilers last night which halted a 4-game win streak. Edmonton scored the winning goal with just 1:38 remaining in the 3rd period. Despite the loss the Rangers enter tonight having won 10 of the last 14, and 15 of their last 22-games. The Rangers have been a terrific on the road this season going a very profitable 17-10, including going 15-4 in the last 19, and 5-0 in their last 5 away games. In addition to playing with no rest, the Rangers will be playing their 3rd game in the last 4-days. They’ve gone a terrific 35-16 in their last 51-games versus the money line when playing with no rest. In all likelihood it will be Henrik Lundquist in goal for the Rangers tonight after Cameron Talbot received the start in yesterday’s loss. Lundquist has been terrific in his last 3 starts going 3-0 with a 1.00 GAA, and an outstanding .969 save percentage.
