The New York
Rangers Can Win Because…
They’ve had the upper hand in this series. Although the Habs have gotten a little bit closer, winning Game 3 in overtime, and then losing Game 4 in overtime, they still can’t find their groove. The Rangers defense has them bottled up, and the Habs don’t have any answers.
Not much will change in Game 5. It’ll be a one-goal game, and the Habs will come up with the short end of the stick. This is the exact
style that the Rangers like to play and the Habs can’t figure out how to get
The Montreal Canadiens Can Win Because…
The Habs offense will finally wake up. They have a slew of key players that are in the midst of a scoring, like Brian Gionta, Rene Bourque, Tomas Plekanec and more. At home, with their backs against the wall, we should see their best effort yet.

Outlook & Pick
First to three wins this game. That being the case, I’m going to take the 'under' with my NHL picks. The defense has ramped up on both sides, as neither side has been past three goals in the last three games. That means it should be tough to hit the 'over.'
