We’ll be examining today’s NHL tilt between the Flyers and Devils. We encourage you to read our valuable insight on this game which includes a money line betting system that’s gone 29-14 since 1996.

NHL Metro Rivals on Saturday Night in Jersey
Two Metropolitan Division teams collide tonight when the New Jersey Devils host the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:05 PM ET. According to the NHL betting odds at Bookmaker, New Jersey is a -120 money line favorite, and the posted total is 5.0. This will be the third meeting of the season between these division rivals, and the road team has won each of the first two clashes. There were 15-goals combined scored in those 2-games. They also split their four meetings a season ago, and none of those contests went over the total.

Two Ice Cold Teams
Tonight will mark the 8th consecutive road game for the Philadelphia Flyers. After winning the first three during this tough stretch, they’ve regressed to lose their last 4 heading into tonight. They’ll also be out to fight the demons of having gone 0-8 on the road this season versus opponents with a losing record.

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a 4-2 home loss at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens last night. They’ve now gone a dismal 1-5 in the last 6, 2-10 in the last 12, and 5-19 in their last 24-games. Their recent failures have been a direct result from a lack of offensive productivity. New Jersey has scored 2-goals or less in 5 of the last 6, and 13 of their last 17-games.

NHL Money Line Betting System
The Flyers enter tonight’s game with a winning percentage of .368 on the season, and the Devils are currently at .325. Philadelphia is coming off a Metropolitan Division 2-1 loss at Carolina last night. Those three variables combined with the current money line, qualifies for a rare, but extremely profitable betting system. That valuable handicapping tool will come in very useful when making my NHL picks for Saturday.

Any money line underdog (Philadelphia), coming off a road loss against an opponent from within its own division, and both teams have a winning percentage of between .300 and .400, has seen the underdog go 29-14 (67.4%) since 1996.
