Monday’s NHL card features eight games on the card. We’ve circled three games that we like for our NHL picks, so read on to find out our Monday recommendations.

Los Angeles Kings vs. Calgary Flames

The Flames have had a really tough time scoring goals lately and now they’ll face the team that’s allowed the fewest goals in the NHL. Don’t expect their offense to get back on track in this one.

The Flames have 14 goals in their last seven while the Kings have allowed just three goals in their last four games. 14 of the last 18 Kings games have stayed under, as have eight of the last nine meetings in this series. Take the under with your NHL picks.

Pick: Under 5 at Bodog

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Dallas Stars

The Stars are playing their best hockey of the season and appear to be streaking towards the playoffs. It’s unlikely the Columbus Blue Jackets will be able to do much to slow them down on Monday.

The Stars have won seven of 10 and 10 of 15. The Stars have won 15 of the last 22 meetings they’ve hosted between the teams. They lost to Columbus earlier in the week but I expect them to return the favor here and cover on the NHL odds.

Pick: Stars -125 at 5Dimes

Nashville Predators vs. Ottawa Senators

The Preds have been an under machine over the last week since Pekka Rinne returned, so I’ll bank on that continuing on Monday. He now has a 2.24 GAA this season, which is far better than what the other Predators goaltenders have averaged.

The issue is that the Preds rely on him too much. They aren’t giving up many goals with him in net but they’re not scoring a whole lot either. They’ve amassed just three goals in their last four games and their 152 goals are the third-fewest in the Western Conference. I’ll take the under in this one.

Pick: Under 5.5 at SportsInteraction
