There are five games on the schedule on Monday night and we’ve got them all covered for you. Three of the games are below and any game that you don’t see here is covered individually along with a video preview. Make sure you take it all in before placing your NHL picks.

Dallas Stars vs. Buffalo Sabres

The Stars are obviously the better choice for your sports picks in this game as Buffalo has been horrendous. However, Dallas is just 1-4-0 on the road this season, which means that they aren’t exactly a slam dunk to cash in. They are also going through some struggles themselves as they have lost three of four and five of seven.

Instead, I’ll go with the under in this contest. The way the Sabres have been scoring – or haven’t been scoring – this game should really have a total of 5. The Sabres have 20 goals in 13 games. That being the case, I’ll add the under to my NHL picks tonight.

Pick: Under 5.5 at WillHill

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Carolina Hurricanes

The Penguins have surprisingly lost three straight but are still laying about -150 on the road in Carolina. Pittsburgh’s goaltending/defense has let them down recently as they’ve coughed up eight goals in their last two games. That’s quite a bit considering they only allowed 2.22 goals per game in all of their other contests. Meanwhile, Carolina has allowed at least three goals in four of their last five. That being the case, I’ll take the over with my sports picks

Pick: Over 5.5 at Bodog

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild

The Blackhawks and Wild finish up their home-and-home set on Monday after the Wild beat the Blackhawks 5-3 on Saturday. Now the Wild get to play host as they enter on a three-game winning streak while the Blackhawks have lost two in a row.

The Blackhawks have given up five goals or more in two straight games and I expect them to tighten that up. That’s not characteristic of them. At a bit of a cheap price on the NHL odds, I’ll take a shot with the Blackhawks to get revenge for Saturday’s loss.

Pick: Blackhawks -113 at Pinnacle
