Ducks and Blackhawks Game 3 Betting Preview
The Chicago Blackhawks return home to the United Center for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday at 8:05 PM ET. According to the NHL betting odds at Heritage, Chicago is a -128 money line favorite, and the posted total is 5.0. The series is currently deadlocked at 1-1. This will be the sixth meeting of the season between these teams, and only the second time being played in Chicago. Chicago has won three of the five, and totals results were 3-0-2 under the number.

Epic Game 2
These teams played an instant classic on Tuesday that took three overtimes to decide. When it was all said and done, Marcus Kruger scored at 16:12 of the third overtime which resulted in a 3-2 Chicago win. The goaltending by both Corey Crawford of Chicago and Frederik Andersen of Anaheim was nothing short of spectacular. Crawford stopped 60 of 62 Anaheim shots on goal to earn the win. Anderson turned away 53 of 56 Chicago shots on net, and he’s compiled a brilliant .953 save percentage in the first two games of this series.

Duck Dynasty
The Anaheim Ducks entered the playoffs as the top seed in the Western Conference, and they’ve certainly lived up to their billing thus far. They’re 9-2 in the 2015 postseason, and their only two losses have come in overtime. As a matter of fact, Anaheim has outscored the opposition by a dominating 41-22 margin in their eleven playoff games. The Ducks have gone 19-8 this season during away games when the total was 5.0 or less like it will be this evening. They’ve also gone 15-8 over the total on the road this season versus an opponent with a winning percentage of better than .500, and that includes 4-0 over the number during these playoffs.

Hawks Protect Home Ice
Chicago seized home ice advantage in this series as a result of their Game 2 win. That’s certainly significant since they’ve gone a perfect 5-0 at home during these playoffs, and are a combined 13-2 in home postseason games since 2014. The Blackhawks will be facing an opponent (Anaheim) tonight that possesses a stellar .645 winning percentage. Chicago is a terrific 21-6 against the money line at home since the start of last season, versus opponents with a winning percentage of .600 to .750.

NHL Money Line Betting System
Any home team (Chicago) that’s -100 to -150 on the money line, and allows 2.55 or less goals per game, and is coming off an overtime win in their previous contest, resulted in that home team going 55-18 (75.3%) since the start of the 2012-2013 season.

NHL Pick: Play on Chicago -128 on the money line over Anaheim at Heritage as your Thursday NHL pick.
