We have Friday night NHL action coverage for you right here! Find out where we believe the best value lies.

Friday is a quiet night in the NHL with just four games on the schedule. We’ve got three of them previewed and picked below, so take it all in before you make your picks at your sportsbook.

Nashville Predators vs. Winnipeg Jets

The thinking here is quite simple: Nashville is being forced to make up for bad goaltending by opening up their offense. That means they are scoring more but also making more mistakes on the back end. Case and point: their last game was a 6-4 win over Colorado. When’s the last time you recall Nashville being involved in a 10-goal game?

The bottom line is that the last four Predators games with Carter Hutton in net have averaged 8.25 goals per contest and six of his seven starts have seen at least five goals. They miss Pekka Rinne sorely but as they continue to play this style, I’ll add the over to my sports picks.

Calgary Flames vs. Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche are fresh off an uncharacteristically high-scoring affair. As mentioned, they lost 6-4 to the Flames recently and allowing six goals is not something we’re used to seeing from them this season. They had only allowed 19 goals in their other 13 games.

Calgary is really struggling offensively these days as they’ve scored 11 goals in their last five games. On the season, they are averaging just 2.56 goals per game in road contests compared to 3.33 at home. Look for Colorado to get back to business and deliver an under on the NHL odds.

Buffalo Sabres vs. Anaheim Ducks

The Sabres have played a couple of high-scoring affairs recently but I’m not buying it. They are coming off a 5-4 win over San Jose and a 6-3 loss to Anaheim. Prior to those games, their contests were averaging 4.4 goals per game.

Buffalo averages just 1.88 goals per game on the road while Anaheim is one of the best defensive home teams. They allow just 1.67 goals per game at home, which is third-best in the NHL. Add the under to your NHL picks.
