Friday’s NHL card features eight games in total. Read on below to get our picks on three of the games where we’ve found a bit of value.

New Jersey Devils vs. Florida Panthers

The Devils look like they’re worth adding to our hockey picks for Friday. They’re in Florida and the game is basically a PICK. The Devils have been playing well as they’ve won three of four and five of seven. As for Florida, they’ve dropped 10 of their last 13 games. There’s also the fatigue factor as the Panthers will be on a back-to-back and playing their third game in four nights while the Devils should be a bit fresher.

Pick: Devils -106 at BetOnline

Edmonton Oilers vs. Detroit Red Wings

This is probably a crazy decision but I’m going to take a shot with the Oilers for my NHL picks. The Red Wings have dropped four of five and really have no business laying this much juice – especially at home where they are just 12-20 on the year.

Sure, Edmonton is the worst team in the Western Conference but they’ve won three of four and have a bit of momentum on their side. They are 8-3-2 in their last 13 games mostly because it looks like their goaltending situation has settled down. They’ve allowed just 2.15 goals in the span after giving up 3.5 per game in their first 53 outings.

The line is just too high on Detroit here, so I’ll take a flier with Edmonton.

Pick: Oilers +180 at SportsInteraction

New York Rangers vs. Winnipeg Jets

The Jets have lost their way as they’ve now dropped five straight. However, there’s a good chance they get back on track on Friday when the Rangers visit. The Rangers will be in a back-to-back situation as well as playing their third road game in four nights. The trip has taken them from Carolina, to Minnesota, to Winnipeg in a span of four days, and that could wear on them.

Getting plus-money as a home dog, I’ll take a shot with the Jets.

Pick: Jets +105 at Pinnacle
