Friday is a quiet night in the NHL with just four games on the card. We’ve got three previews and picks here to get you prepped for the action!

Chicago Blackhawks @ New Jersey Devils

The Blackhawks offense has gone missing in action as they’ve scored just two goals in their last three games. We typically expect more from a team that leads the league with 160 goals scored.

However, I’ll take the under as our NHL pick in this one mostly because of the Devils. The Devils haven’t hit six goals in a game in any of their last three contests and in six of their last nine. The under is a combined 9-3 for these two teams when they play on Friday nights this season.

Pick: Under 5.5 at Bodog

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Calgary Flames

The Lightning are playing great hockey on the road these days as they’ve won four straight away games. I like them in this spot as you don’t have to lay a whole lot on the NHL odds and they have a very manageable opponent.

The Flames have lost three straight at home and seven of eight overall. This is a good spot to invest in Tampa Bay with your sports picks.

Pick: Lightning -124 at Pinnacle

Edmonton Oilers @ Anaheim Ducks

Edmonton is again spiraling downward as they’ll enter Friday’s game as losers of two straight and eight of their last 10. The Ducks are a massive favorite on the betting lines as they’re laying about -250 but I’m not interested in that type of juice. They’re favored by that much because they’ve won 11 of 12 overall and 15-0-2 at home this season.

That being the case, I’ll add the Ducks puckline to my NHL picks. I expect them to win this game, so hopefully they can win it by more than one goal as they’ve done in five of their last 10 wins.

Pick: Ducks -1.5 +115 at Bovada
