NHL Betting: Sunday Picks
Record: 112-127 (-795)
Dallas Sharks @ San Jose Sharks
The Dallas Stars continue to nosedive while the San Jose Sharks continue to thrive. That being the case, I’ll add two picks from this game to my NHL picks.
Dallas did beat Anaheim on Friday night but I have little faith in them. The Sharks have been virtually untouchable at home this season and that should continue on Sunday. The Stars have had issues on offense and the Sharks – with their stellar goaltending – should be able to keep the muzzle on them.
I’ll take the under and lay the puck line with the Sharks in this spot.
Pick: Sharks -1.5 & Under at Bovada
Ottawa Senators @ Florida Panthers
The Ottawa Senators are in a bit of a slump (lost four straight) but a matchup with Florida should help them get back on track. They have won 11 of their last 12 against Florida, including two of the meetings this season. Playing in Florida isn’t much of a concern as they have won six of their last seven visits there.
I’ll lay the juice on the NHL odds with Ottawa.
Pick: Senators -125 at BetOnline
Minnesota Wild @ Columbus Blue Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets hot streak came to an end on Friday when they lost 3-1 to St. Louis. However, playing at home should see them put forth a better effort.
The Blue Jackets will again rely on Sergei Bobrovsky and he’s been awesome at home this season. He’s 8-0-2 with a 0.89 GAA in his last 10 appearances with nine of those starts coming at home.
The Wild’s issues are in net as Nik Backstrom is really struggling. He has a 3.89 GAA in his last six starts and he was pulled just three minutes into his last start. I’ll take a shot with the Blue Jackets.
Pick: Blue Jackets -113 at Pinnacle[gameodds]7/224170/43-19-999996-92/us[/gameodds]
