The Anaheim Ducks finally got on the board in Game 3. It looks like the first to three goals wins the game in this series. They’ve trimmed the lead to 2-1 but are still a dog on the NHL odds for Game 4. Can they tie it up?

The Anaheim Ducks Can Win Because…
They got their offense going in Game 3. The Ducks had been muzzled in the first couple of games but let’s face it: this was the highest-scoring team in the regular season. They are only going to be held down for so long. Sniper Corey Perry finally scored his first goal in the series while the Ducks scored on both power plays. This is exactly what they needed. In Game 4, they just need more of it and they’ll cash in for your NHL picks.

The Los Angeles Kings Can Win Because…
Game 3 only indicated that they failed on special teams – nothing more. The Ducks scored two of their three goals on the power play, but overall they didn’t really outplay the Kings. Los Angeles still played fairly well, outshooting the Ducks 31-22. The Ducks have had some serious issues in net in the playoffs, so if those numbers stay the same, the Kings should find more goals in Game 4.

The Ducks got a spark from a goaltender change in Game 3 as they starred Fredrik Andersen. However, he got hurt in the third period, and the Ducks had to resort back to Jonas Hiller, who had lost the confidence of the team.

With Hiller back in net, the Kings should get Game 4. They’ve been the better team this series.

Outlook & Pick
I think the Kings probably come away with Game 4, but the juice is too high in this spot. Instead, I’ll take the 'over' as part of my NHL picks.  I expect this game to be higher scoring than the other ones if Hiller is back starting between the pipes.
