The Anaheim Ducks have been unstoppable this season as they have lost a total of just four times in 19 games.

NHL Betting: Ducks vs. Coyotes Picks

On Saturday, they’re a small road dog with the NHL odds makers.

lines as they visit the Phoenix Coyotes. Oddly enough – as rare as this might be – the Ducks will face the Coyotes three consecutive times this week starting on Saturday. Here’s a closer look at that contest.

Record: 63-73 (-753)

The Anaheim Ducks can win because…

They haven’t done much losing this season. Even though Anaheim is on the road, they’ve won eight of their last nine games and come into this contest with more momentum. Meanwhile, Phoenix is struggling.

The Coyotes have lost three of their last four games and have been giving up goals at an alarming pace. They’ve allowed 14 goals in their last four games and if the Ducks approach that 3.5-goal average, they are going to win this game. Between Viktor Fasth and Jonas Hiller, the Ducks appear to have an excellent combination in net and they could have the edge here unless Phoenix straightens out.

The Phoenix Coyotes can win because…

They are a quality team at home. While the Coyotes have not been great this season, they have played well at home with wins in four of their last six games.

The Ducks will be in a tight spot on Saturday as they will be in a back-to-back situation while also playing their third game in four nights. That could be troublesome as the Minnesota Wild really pushed the Ducks to their limits on Friday night. If freshness is a factor, the Coyotes should have the edge.

Outlook & Picks

This is a really odd situation where the two teams will square off three times in a row. Even so, I can’t pass up the Ducks as a road dog here. They come in on a hot streak while the Coyotes have looked vulnerable, losing three of four. Take the Ducks for your hockey picks today.
