The Los Angeles Kings, who lead the series 3-2 will attempt to close out the St Louis Blues tonight when the two teams meet in a crucial Game 6 contest at the Staples Center.

After dropping the first two games of the series, the Kings have climbed out of a deep hole and stormed back to win three straight and now have the opportunity in Game 6 to eliminate the Blues from the postseason.

For Game 6, most of the larger online sportsbooks, including Bookmaker have favored the home team in this contest, posting a money line price of -155 on Los Angeles. The puck line has the Kings giving up 1½ goals with a nice return price of +210, but for that wager to pay off, the Kings must win by at least two goals.

The games total is coming in at just 4 ½ goals for this matchup, with a price tag of -125 on the over. The Kings are 7-2-4 UNDER in their last 13 games played on their home ice and the Blues are 7-3-2 UNDER in their last 12 played on the highway.

Now, let’s take an in-depth look inside both teams for this very important Game 6 matchup and determine if it’s St. Louis or Los Angeles that brings better value on the NHL odds.

St. Louis has failed to record a victory in its last seven trips to Los Angeles and is just 3-13 in the last 16 overall meetings against the Kings.

Furthermore, the Blues are 0-4 in their last four games played on the road and 7-15 in their last 22 Conference Quarterfinals games.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles is an impressive 37-15 in their last 52 played at the Staples Center and 20-8 versus Central Division opponents.

Additionally, the kings have won 7 of their last 10 games played in the Conference Quarterfinals.

I see zero value backing St. Louis in this matchup and expect the Kings to cruise to victory tonight - especially with the support of their hometown fans in this Game 6 matchup.

Thus far, all five games have been decided by one goal, but the result will be different tonight.

The Blues have been down 3-2 in a playoff series 18 times throughout the history of the franchise, producing just seven wins. After tonight those number will not improve.

All signs point to Los Angeles for our NHL picks. They will deliver and advance to the next round of the NHL playoffs, while continuing to defend their championship from last season.
